Today’s sketch was made with Copic markers on
a free sketchbook, provided as mentioned by OACC. Simple, but effectively says “building”.
Another day, another sketch! Today I was volunteering at Rogue Gallery and decided to just do a quick marker sketch in a sketchbook that was kindly provided during a presentation by Oregon College of Art and Craft Assistant Director of Admissions Devon Simpson, showing us the amazing work that the students of the college produce! It’s a simple sketch, and only took me about five minutes with 6 Copic Sketch markers and a Copic Multiliner:
It was fun to draw though, and I appreciate the information given in the presentation too!
There are only two more days left of this theme, but I feel like I could explore it for a long time… maybe it’s time for a theme of the month, or year…
For day three of #weeklysketch I wanted to delve even further into the abstract idea of cities that don’t necessarily meet our expectations, hiding little secrets and unknown places:
This particular piece was done, once again, on Canson RENDR paper, using three Copic markers.
